Another place I'd driven by a hundred times, but had never thought of visiting until this day.
Every corner we turned revealed another gorgeous old building; some seemed like farm cottages, others were more old Hollywood glamour, while the Grand Hall felt like a medieval castle.
Wandering aimlessly around the grounds was a great way to explore the place. Everywhere we looked there was something interesting, fascinating or beautiful - or all three!
We'd climb stone steps outside and grand timber staircases inside...
Polished slate, leadlight windows, heavy wooden doors, red rusty farm vehicles - all set amidst lush green gardens blooming with a kaleidoscope of Spring colour.
