Walk or take the scenic drive up the tree lined road to the peak, where you'll find a picnic ground and tower.
The Pioneer's Memorial Tower has a narrow, dark spiral staircase leading to a viewing platform at the top. Along the way, there are windows to take in the views across the land below.
From March to May, the Conservatory is filled with blooming Begonias in a myriad of colours.
The giant Douglas Fir trees tower over the gardens and we saw lots of Crimson Rosellas tackling the pine cones.
If you can resist the urge to give these fallen leaves a big ol' kick in the air - you're a better grown up than me. Whoosh!
