The historic property, Gulf Station, is one of the oldest timber farm properties in Australia, built in the 1840's. Managed by the National Trust, it is also looked after by a group of passionate volunteers, FROGS (Friends and Relations of Gulf Station).
Gulf Station is currently closed to the public, but you can book the venue for functions, photography sessions and other events.
The FROGS volunteers do a weekly garden and maintenance working day. You can join FROGS via subscription ($10) and be notified of special events, school holiday activities - or just get involved and help maintain this lovely old property. The money raised by FROGS goes to purchasing some items for the site - like a photocopier, tools and TWO CLYDESDALE HORSES!
