For aviation buffs, wartime buffs, or people just like me who are interested in going some place a little different - the RAAF Museum is up your alley.
A collection of aircraft and airforce vehicles sits inside huge hangars at the base. Uniforms, memorabilia, photos and a detailed history of our forces in wartime from WW1 to more recent deployments.
Outside, more aircraft and even a missile are on display.
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 1pm, the Museum has live flying displays from selected aircraft.
The day we went, we were thrilled to see the Roulettes in action, as they put on a spectacular show for us. The squadron landed and had a chat to the crowd, before heading back to the base in Sale.
