This walk is a continuation of the Dight's Falls to Studley Park Walk, with this walk starting from Kane's Bridge.![Yarra River Studley Park Yarra River Studley Park](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu7sj6NKTzPArbK7kTsu-U9gWH3Nx6trbdFGiLwBp_1JdsGAYfTupxpKyTIKq_L8T7lVYgm6uZoIXNNvlxyVVw6R8srwo4I26sZ5ZQLqytMZhQfndfnxvCj0LDQ1hoiplQXZ8SnurlziE/s640/20150607_112720.jpg)
At Studley Park Boathouse, you can hire paddle boats and take a short cruise up and down the Yarra and have a picnic under the shady trees.![Yarra River Studley Park Yarra River Studley Park](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu7sj6NKTzPArbK7kTsu-U9gWH3Nx6trbdFGiLwBp_1JdsGAYfTupxpKyTIKq_L8T7lVYgm6uZoIXNNvlxyVVw6R8srwo4I26sZ5ZQLqytMZhQfndfnxvCj0LDQ1hoiplQXZ8SnurlziE/s640/20150607_112720.jpg)
The track follows the high side of the bank, before coming back down near the water, where I spotted these two lovebirds.
Speaking of lovebirds, they're so hard to see in this photo, but I was so excited to see a ball of grey feathers in a tree - a Tawny Frogmouth. On closer inspection, it appeared to be two birds. Then - they moved a little and I was thrilled to see it was actually THREE of them all snuggled up together on the chilly morning.
Too. Darn. Cute.

A stunning mural covers the wall alongside the track.
